Profiles
Thuli is an advocate turned environmentalist who has been Director of Yonge Nawe since 1996. She has a B.A. in Law, an LL.B, and an MSc in Environmental Assessment & Evaluation and is a Trustee of groundWork (South Africa). Coordinator
Project Officer - Environmental Justice I am an Advocate of the High
Court of Swaziland and work in the Environmental
and Socio-Economic Justice programme for Yonge Nawe. I hold a
B.A. (Law) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Swaziland.
Previous work experience includes attachments with the Swazi Government
(Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs: Registrar General's Office
and Registrar of the High Court) and with NGOs including Schools Health
and Population Education (SHAPE).
Administrator Feziwe holds a BSc in Maths and Environmental Science from the University of Swaziland. Before coming to Yonge Nawe she worked as Project Officer with the Renewable Energy Association of Swaziland (REASWA). She was the first employee of REASWA and established an office base for the organisation, as well as conducting renewable energy projects on solar, wind, biomass and climate change.
Nontsikelelo Malindzisa
holds a B.A. in Social Science with majors in Geography, Environmental
Science and Planning and Public Administration from the University of Swaziland.
She has worked as a Public Affairs Officer at Tibiyo TakaNgwane (Internship)
and has done research work with the National Emergency Response Council
on HIV/AIDS (NERCHA) and PSI Swaziland.
Administrative Assistant Nombuso Mhlanga, Administrative
Assistant has worked extensively in the Swazi environmental sector, and
has held positions with First Environmental Consultants, SWADE Environmental
Sector, Golder Associates and Douglas Consultants.
Cleaner and Messenger Susan has worked for Yonge
Nawe for more than two years. She previously worked in the hospitality
industry. In her spare time Susan is studying secretarial courses
in Accounts, Business English, Office Procedure, Computers and Typing.
